CURP Clave Unica de Registro de Población, 2002, tatuaje, 2x8 cm

Me tatué en el brazo el código de barras correspondiente a mi CURP. Fui a varios supermercados para revisar que el sistema político reconocía el sistema económico. Pasando el código de barras por scanners verificadores de precio, la leyenda “producto no registrado” aparecía en la pantalla.

I tatooed the bar code corresponding to my CURP (Clave Única de Registro de Población, Unique Identification Code for the Registry of Inhabitants) on my arm.
I traveled to several supermarkets in order to see if the political system recognized the economic system. Upon moving the code across the scanners designed to read them, the legend “unregistered product” would appear on the screen.

La energía no se crea ni se destruye, sólo se tranforma.

Al masticar una galleta se aplica una fuerza, al escupirla otra. Ambas implican un movimiento y un trabajo. La energía cinética en esta masa al estrellarse contra la pared se convierte en sonido, calor u otra manifestación.

El espectador posiblemente sienta una ligera sensación de asco, “se le revolverá el estomago” y al suceder esto habrá de nuevo un movimiento, logrando de esta forma la conservación de la energía cinética.

Energy is neither created nor destroyed, it is only transformed.

Upon chewing on a cookie, force is applied; upon spitting it out, a different force is also applied. Both imply movement. Kinetic energy, when this mass hits the wall, becomes sound, heat or another manifestation of energy.

The spectator might feel a slight sense of repulsion (his/her stomach will turn). This occurrence will give way to new movement, and thus, kinetic energy is preserved.
